Cantonal and regional tourist tax under the Tourism Act (LT) of 8 October 2021 and the Tourism Regulations (RT) of 7 December 2021 (both in force from 1 January 2022; the RT has not changed since); flat rate of CHF 3.00 according to the UFT tariff sheet (approved by the State Council, as at 1 January 2023; the previous rules applied until the end of 2022, Art. 58 LT). Applies in all municipalities in the canton of Fribourg; municipalities may levy only a tourism tax on businesses (Art. 36 LT), not their own guest tax. Collector: Centrale fribourgeoise d'encaissement (UFT); registration and reporting via CheckIn-FR are compulsory. Landlords report guest nights and collect the tax (Art. 34 para. 3 LT); the owners’ flat rate (150 nights × CHF 3.00, payable from 1 March) covers owners and close family only.
